Hi April -

I once wrote lyrics to the Adams Family about atoms, when I was teaching 8th grade. But I was never happy enough with it to share it. A song on our next album, Big Bang, will include a mention of atoms and electrons, but it’s not the topic of the song.

Our song, We Sail the Winds, from the Rockin’ the Foundations of Science album, is about CO2 and photosynthesis. That’s about as close as we get.

we’re in the midst of an element/atom unit. Do you have anything along those lines? We’ve used Atoms Family theme song to learn atomic particles. Any ideas??

Could you let us know when the CD that you filmed at the CalPoly San Luis Obispo theatre on October 11, 2008 will be out–Dylan had the time of his little life up on stage with you all! He thinks that he is a rock star now. He attends the Child Development Center here (at risk kids) and they would love a copy.

My 9 year old daughter, Grace, and I went to the show at the Spanos Theater. It was TERRIFIC! The music, lyrics, crazy antics, and audience participation were great fun. Grace’s favorite songs were Earthquake and Twister. My fave was Termite Flatulence! BJC are a very talented and fun group. Thanks for the fantastic show!
